Here you will be able to create schedule lines in the moment you are creating the scheduling agreement or else you can choose them to create them later.

The scheduling agreement becomes fulfilled when you are creating deliveries in schedule when they are becoming due. Here in a scheduling agreement, the processing of deliveries happens in the same way as you are doing a normal delivery. Rather than the standard scheduling agreements in SAP SD it has the ability to manage scheduling agreements for the component supplier industry too.

For this task, it has many special characteristics. They are ability to work with the scheduling agreements with EDI output, entering the scheduling agreements in the forecast or just in time delivery schedule, usage of various categories of the cumulative quantities, considering the automatic fiscal year change which is used by the component supplier, management of engineering change statuses, the storage of packing proposals, the creation of the correction deliveries to the scheduling agreement and also working with the external service agents.

There is a difference between a scheduling agreement and a normal order. The scheduling agreement includes the information of the delivery schedule. But if you think about a contract it only contains quantities and the information on prices. But it does not contain information on particular dates of delivery. But the similarity is both of them include price, quantity and the schedule line.

The other difference is the cumulative quantities which will be tracked and affects on the procedure of passing the schedule agreement requirements to the two processes which are forecasting and shipping.
